I don't know whether to laugh or cry at Bernie's recent suggestion that if the Beeb don't extend beyond 2012 or, perish the thought they pull out at the end of this year, (which apparently is not such an implausible option) then he would approach Richard Desmond at Channel 5 as first choice !!!
The world is falling apart.........
The only positive is that he has said he wouldn't want it to go to Pay TV - small mercies.....
