Less than ten days to go before we commence the annual pilgrimage to Le Sarthe for the 80th Le Mans race and as a taster today is the test day.
As I write this we’ve just started the second four-hour session and hopefully it will be as exciting as the first with Audi just about having the lead from the Toyota hybrids – so close is it that there is just one second between the top six cars.
Audi had a 1-2 with the Sebastian Buemi Toyota in 3rd.

ReplyDeleteAs for the other point, I second that request. As we're meant to be celebrating all things regal this weekend it would be a travesty if KL didn't make this year....
As there's a feast of sport to be had this June for some inexplicable reason we've booked to go on holiday. I will actually be flying on the morning of the race.
ReplyDeleteI've got my app for Euro 2012, need to work out how I'll fit in watching some Le Mans and finding somewhere that will be showing it there's also the European Grand Prix.
Oh, well......there's always next year.
